All wood turned items are made from locally sourced sustainable British timber, or carpentry business offcuts - timber that would otherwise end up in landfills.

I reckon this English Walnut bud vase almost looks like stone. The good thing about getting blanks for turning from a slab is that I can find interesting patterns. This was cut on a different orientation than a normal spindle blank, so the end gra

A new False Acacia pot finished up a few days ago with tung oil. Some nice subtle grain patterns in this one.
A new shape of bud vase I've been turning recently. I have been trying to get to grips with my @richard_findley parting/skew chisel, and these give me the chance to practice - as I can do the whole thing with said tool. Oak and Spalted Beech here
Spalted Beech... Lovely Jubbly
False Acacia (aka Black Locust) pot turned yesterday evening and finished with Tung oil. I like False Acacia - very similar to Ash when turning.
A new Elm pot with some nice character to it. Finished with Tung oil. Shame Elm can be harder to come by thanks to Dutch Elm disease. It's a lovely wood... in my humble opinion.
