A small elm bowl turned from a single piece of British hardwood. The shape is compact with gently sloping sides and a rounded base, giving it a steady feel despite its smaller size.

Elm often carries quiet variation in colour, and this piece shows a soft band of darker tone running around the lower half of the bowl. The grain follows the curve of the form, creating subtle lines that move around the piece as the light changes.

Turned by hand in a small garden workshop and finished with a food-safe oil and wax blend.
