Sycamore Bowl – 'Snack Bowl'

Hand-turned from pale Scottish sycamore, this bowl has the gentle, rounded profile I’ve come to think of as my “snack bowl” (I recommend it for popcorn - but other snacks work…)

The name stuck after I kept the very first one I made and promptly discovered it was the perfect size for a film-night snack.

Not that I’m here to tell you what to put in yours, of course. Keys, fruit, craft supplies, a collection of mysterious items you keep meaning to sort out… it handles them all with equally.

The bowl’s soft curves and understated grain make it an easy, calming presence in any room. Practical without demanding attention. Tactile in that way only hand-turned wood can be.

Finished with a food-safe hard wax and oil blend - for a soft sheen and everyday durability.

  • This bowl has been finished with a food-safe blend of tung oil and wax. Enhancing both its appearance and protective qualities.

  • When cleaning, I highly recommend that you handwash the bowl. Please do not place it in the dishwasher or submerge it completely in water, as this can cause damage. Taking these precautions will help maintain the bowl's quality and longevity.
