Warped Cherry Wooden Pot #4

£42.00
Sold

This Cherry wood originates from a tree that was cut down near my home in 2023. It was crafted while the wood was still green, with a subtle tapered design.

Following the turning process, as the wood dried, I allowed it to naturally warp into its final shape. This resulted in a gentle oblong contour, a slight dip in the rim, and small wobble on the base. This method, known as once-turned green woodturning, permits the wood to find its own equilibrium.

The gentle taper in the design of this wooden pot imparts an unassuming aesthetic that would complement nearly any table or shelf.

With its organic form, the Cherry wood pot introduces a touch of interest, both visually and tactilely, that harmonises with the decor of any room.
