Warped Cherry Wooden Pot #2

£45.00
Sold

This wood is from a Cherry tree that felled close to my home in 2023. Turned whilst the wood was green (i.e. still wet), this pot has a strong tapered design.

As the pot dried out following the turning, this piece was left to warp to its final shape - a gentle oblong effect and slight dipping of the rim. The pot also has a very small wobble as a byproduct of the warping. This once-turned method of green woodturned allows the wood to find its own equilibrium.

The gentle tapered design of this wooden pot delivers an understated look that would add to almost any table or shelf.

With it’s natural form, the wooden Cherry pot helps to add interest - both visual and tactile - that complements any room decor.
